Al-Azhar College of Arts and Science, under the aegis of Al-Azhar Group of Institutions, successfully organized a “Back to Basics – Employability Enhancement Program” on 15th December, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The program was designed to strengthen students’ employability skills by focusing on essential personal and professional competencies.

The central theme of the program was “Goal Setting, SWOT Analysis and Organizing Skills”, aiming to help students understand their strengths and weaknesses, set clear career goals, and develop effective organizational habits essential for workplace success.

The sessions were led by distinguished soft skill experts Ms. Anusha Thamby and Mr. Sanju T Kurian, who brought valuable industry insights and practical perspectives to the program. Through interactive discussions, real-life examples, and activity-based learning, the resource persons effectively engaged the participants and encouraged active participation.

Students were introduced to structured goal-setting techniques, self-assessment through SWOT analysis, and practical methods to improve time management and organizational skills. The program helped participants gain clarity about career planning, personal development, and the importance of basic employability skills in today’s competitive job market.

The event was organized in association with Training Gurus, and powered by Badger Skills International (BSI) and NOB Skills Pvt. Ltd. The program concluded with positive feedback from participants, who found the sessions informative, motivating, and highly relevant to their future career aspirations.

Overall, the Employability Enhancement Program was a great success and proved to be a meaningful step towards preparing students for professional excellence.
