The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Al-Azhar College of Arts & Science, Thodupuzha, in association with DEXTRA – The IT Club, organized a One Day Hackathon on UI/UX Development on 10 March 2026 at 11:30 AM in the BCA Classroom.
The program aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design, while encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and practical application of design thinking in digital product development.
The session was led by Karthik P, Full Stack Developer at Steyp, Trivandrum, who served as the resource person for the event. He shared valuable insights on modern UI/UX design practices, industry trends, and the importance of creating user-centered digital experiences.
During the hackathon, students actively participated in design challenges, collaborated in teams, and worked on developing innovative interface solutions. The interactive nature of the session helped participants gain hands-on exposure to UI/UX concepts and practical design strategies.
The event provided a great learning platform for students to enhance their technical and creative skills, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the role of UI/UX design in the modern technology industry.
